AMVRP Youth Connect Outreach program, provides internship opportunities for high school aged youth in the Prince Georges, Maryland Community to learn crucial skills needed for employment and job training in online marketing, graphic design, and remodeling (painting, tile work, general masonry). In conjunction with our Affordable housing Initiative, we focus on building financial capability and career pathways toward middle-skills careers and a living wage. With support from positive adult role models, youth are able to explore a range of education and career pathways, set career goals and develop the soft skills needed to succeed in 21st century careers
We are activity recruiting student interns for the American Minority Veterans Research Project at colleges, universities, high schools and the community. We are seeking exceptional and dedicated individuals who satisfy the requirements for the project as volunteers. Everyone is welcome to apply regardless of academic major.
