The American Minority Veterans Research Project and affiliates are inviting you to the viewing of the upcoming play, “Dog Tag”, scheduled for the Fall of 2022 at the Historic Faith Community Baptist Church, 13618 Layhill Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20906 on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM.


The play will consist of primarily three Acts: Act I Childhood, Act II Teenage Period and Act III Young Adulthood (Acts: are approximately 20 minutes each).

The American Minority Veterans Research Project and affiliates are inviting you to read the below brief synopsis of the upcoming play, “Dog Tag”, scheduled for the Fall of 2022 at the Historic Faith Community Baptist Church, 13618 Layhill Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20906 on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM. In order to accommodate you there will be auditions Via Zoom scheduled for your convenience no later than Saturday, November 20, 2022.

Talent Participants & Bios

1. Nylea McGraw-Johnson has enjoyed singing as long as she can remember and is an active
member of the chorus at Richard Montgomery HS. Nylea is the winner of the AKA Sorority
Virtual Youth Art Contest with the Harlem Renaissance in Montgomery County, Maryland.
2. Dorothy Nathan is an ACT-SO alum as she recently graduated from Damascus High School and is
currently a freshman at American University. Dorothy is always ready to volunteer and support
the community—especially as a singer.
3. Khalia Solomon is a senior at Northwest High School in Germantown, MD. She is the ACT-SO
Montgomery County bronze medalist for Poetry Performance. She is also a writer with MOCO
for Literacy.
4. Amari Taylor is a talented artist and a student at John F. Kennedy HS in Silver Spring. This
sophomore was featured on PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Lab. Amari also runs his own art
business.
